ANTIDOTE: A COLOUR CURE

Each year, Dulux release a colour trend forecast for the year ahead, predicting the palettes that we will be loving, coveting and inspired to specify in our projects. We are excited by Dulux's latest visual prescription as ‘an antidote to the many challenges we face in our modern lifestyles’ with four unique palettes.

SENTIENCE – A TACTILE REMEDY

This light and feminine colour palette emits a raw aesthetic, providing a contrast to cold, smooth surfaces of manufactured materials, and making way for a colourful, tactile and natural feel, particularly when paired with timber floors and furniture.

CHROMA – A GRAPHIC VIEW

CHROMA – black and white build to tertiary hues

There is never a full moment with Chroma, a colour palette that moves away from the repetition of our daily lives. The bold colours and saturated hues help generate creativity in a space with its geometric forms and block colours.

ENTWINE – A COLOURFUL WEAVE

ENTWINE – earthy reds and botanical greens

These earth tones are deep and brooding, an eclectic range of colours inspired by a global cultures and landscapes. The Entwine palette looks for a link between modernity and tradition as we strive for diversity and equality.

CONSTRUCT – A LUXE FOUNDATION

CONSTRUCT – dark greys, warm copper and inky blues

The Construct palette is refined and classically rich. It’s a combination of structure and simplicity and delivers understated luxury with the illusion of depth, accentuating interior details.

We love the dusty hues, classic tones and playful palettes and can’t wait to use them to bring our client’s dream homes to life in 2017.
