“The process is only as good as the listening that comes before it.”
No two projects are the same. Neither is the way we work.
Every home, every client and every brief asks something different of us. While most of our projects follow the seven stages below, the scope and sequence are always tailored to suit the project.
Some clients engage us from the earliest planning stages through to the final placement of furniture. Others come to us for a significant renovation, a complete furnishing of their home, or the refinement of spaces that already exist.
Every decision has a reason. Nothing is arbitrary, and nothing is hidden. Our relationships with clients, builders, trades and suppliers are built on that same transparency, and many have lasted years. What we create together is designed to endure, not for this moment or this season, but for the way you will live in your home for years to come.
Most projects progress through these seven stages, each building on the last. Depending on the scope of your project, some stages may be adapted, combined or omitted.
Our Design Process
Every project begins with a conversation.
We take the time to understand how you live, what matters to you, and what you hope your home will become. If it feels like the right fit for both of us, we will arrange an initial consultation with Alexandra Kidd, Founder & Design Principal and Jessica Gombault, Studio Director; and prepare a tailored proposal outlining the scope, stages and fees for your project.
